About Folkets Festival 2027
Folkets Festival is a celebration of Nordic folk music at VEGA, curated by Dreamers’ Circus. It combines concerts with dance, jams, talks and spontaneous musical encounters, based on the idea that folk music should not only be experienced from the audience but also shared and practised together. The 2027 edition takes place on 15 and 16 January.

Enghave Plads Metro is about a two-minute walk from VEGA. VEGA is about 15 minutes on foot from Copenhagen Central Station and 10 minutes from Carlsberg Station; bus 23 stops at Enghave Plads.
Accessibility
VEGA's concert halls are on the first floor and are reached by lift. For fire-safety reasons, wheelchairs may not be on the second-floor balcony in Store VEGA. A limited number of accessible parking spaces are close to VEGA. Questions about special needs or reduced mobility can be directed to VEGA.
Practical information
Folkets Festival 2027 takes place at VEGA on 15 and 16 January. Friday is in Lille VEGA from 18:00 to 01:00, while Saturday uses all of VEGA from 13:00 to 05:00. Food trucks serving Nordic food and VEGA bars are open during the festival; VEGA does not accept cash after 20:00. Jam sessions take place around the venue.
