Description
Frederikssund Festival is a volunteer-led non-profit music festival on Kalvøen, beside the fjord and woodland. It began as a singer-songwriter festival in 1982, and has since developed a broader music profile focused on quality music, closeness and a local, intimate atmosphere. Any surplus goes to charitable and public-benefit causes, with particular emphasis on children and young people in Frederikssund Municipality. The 2027 edition takes place from 5 to 7 August.
