About Riverboat Jazz Festival 2027
Riverboat Jazz Festival has been part of Silkeborg since 1966 and has grown from jazz cruises on the Gudenå River into one of Northern Europe’s major festivals for classic jazz. Its profile ranges from New Orleans and Dixieland jazz to swing and mainstream, with room for younger jazz and emerging talent. Music spreads across tents, restaurants, streets, courtyards and boat trips. Riverboat Jazz Festival 2027 takes place from 23 to 27 June.

Transport
Riverboat takes place in central Silkeborg. Once you have reached the town centre, festival concerts are within walking distance. Parking is not permitted at the festival areas; use the city’s other car parks.
Accessibility
Riverboat states that the festival tents and grounds are accessible to wheelchairs. There are no designated wheelchair areas at the stages, but CREW can help find space. Rampelys has a lift, JYSK Musikteater has accessible entry, and there are marked accessible parking bays plus accessible toilets at JYSK Musikteater and Mejerigården.
