About Samsø Festival 2027
Samsø Festival is an annual volunteer-run music festival in Strandskoven near Ballen on Samsø. It calls itself Denmark’s cosiest festival, combining live music and other events with camping, beach, island life and a strong local community. The entire festival organisation is run by volunteers. Samsø Festival 2027 takes place from 21 to 24 July.

Camping
Samsø Festival 2027 offers tent camping, caravans, camplets and motorhomes, as well as ready-made accommodation options such as Samtelt and TentHouse. Camping is next to the festival site in Strandskoven.
Transport
Reach Samsø by ferry from Hou to Sælvig or Kalundborg to Ballen, or by fast ferry from Aarhus. A direct festival bus runs from Sælvig Harbour to the main entrance, with local buses, night buses and taxis also available.
Accessibility
The festival has an accessible area near the entrance with parking, tent space, electricity, an accessible toilet and shower. There is wheelchair access to a viewing area, a gravel-surfaced path to the festival site, and one free companion admission with a valid companion card.
